The latestStudio McGee collection for Targetrepresents more than a typical Fall 2025 release. It marks the fifth anniversary of the collaboration between the retailer and Shea McGee’s design firm, and the products reflect the significance of the occasion. The Threshold line has long been a source formodern-cottagecore staples, but these new arrivals represent its most elevated offering to date. The considered detailing rivals that of vintage pieces: a whipstitch on alampshade, intricate tassel-style drawer pulls on anightstand, and comparable refinements.
Upon closer inspection, three distinct trends emerge: flouncy ruffles, braided motifs, and a brownish-red hue positioned between mahogany and oxblood.
