The debut collection from interior design firm Pierce & Ward with West Elm was an instant success, with lacquered nightstands, striped duvet covers, and burl wood dressers becoming sought-after favorites. Now, the studio’s second collaboration with the retailer arrives as a 200-piece assortment showcasing richer colors, expanded upholstered furniture options, and an eclectic mix of patterns that build upon the foundation of the first collection.

Known for their high-low approach and masterful integration of vintage elements, cofounders Emily Ward and Louisa Pierce sought to amplify what resonated in the first collection. “The first collection had standout moments, but now that energy carries throughout the collection more consistently,” says Ward. “We expanded into new spaces, like the bathroom, and also literally increased scale—making chairs larger, turning the couch into a sectional, and creating pieces that feel more expansive overall.”

Following the staple-focused first drop, the designers introduced more distinctive styles—corner units and objects with an antiqued sensibility. “We wanted to bring more of the folk art movement into this collection, like tramp art elements and pieces with a more handcrafted, folky feel,” Ward acknowledges. Both collections are designed to mix and match seamlessly, allowing homeowners to curate a personalized aesthetic.

Below, discover 15 standout products from the collaboration that merit immediate consideration before they sell out.

Flush mount fixtures rarely offer this level of decorative character. “We’re really excited about lighting, especially flush mounts that can replace recessed lighting, particularly in high-traffic spaces like kitchens,” says Ward. A silver frame with ruched fabric for one, and a tomato-hued frame with parchment paper shade for the other—both deliver a bolder design statement.

Tramp art, a 19th-century woodworking style characterized by notches and folk motifs such as hearts, anchors, crosses, and flowers, serves as a key inspiration for this collection. Original tramp art pieces command premium prices today; these considered interpretations offer an accessible entry point to the style while maintaining authentic craftsmanship.

The Rugs: Patterned Wool Floor Coverings

“By mixing patterns and having something that gives dimension and depth, like a stripe or check that feels maybe more masculine, then you can introduce something more feminine like floral to balance a room,” Ward notes. The new rugs in the collection exemplify this philosophy, integrating scattered clovers, graphic borders, and vines into sophisticated floor coverings.

The Bistro Table: A Sculptural Marble Accent

The bistro table delivers a versatile yet distinctive silhouette. “It feels vintage and of so many eras,” says Ward. “It feels bold and can go in any room but we’ve also never seen anything like it before and it’s totally unique. It’s so easy to use, functional or decorative.”
