About Pigment Atelier

Founded 2016 · a colour workshop & pigment gallery

Our Story

We file colour the way a gallery files its finest pigments.

Pigment Atelier is a colour workshop and pigment gallery for the home. We treat every room as a canvas and every wall as a colour with a mood — a cadmium red that warms a reading nook, a cobalt blue that cools a south-facing bedroom, a chrome yellow that lifts a kitchen at dawn.

Each project in the gallery is filed as a single colour story: a paint code, a finish, a designer, a studio of record, and the lighting that first brought the room to life. Nothing here is generic. We believe a home is built one careful coat at a time.

The Seven Rooms

The gallery opens onto seven rooms — an unfinished canvas, a color card wall, paint-tube strips, a splash lab, a roller-brush gallery, a colour wheel, and a palette mixing lab. Walk through them slowly; the paint is still wet.

Colour is the breath and mood of a home.

Curatorial Promises

CURATED — Every palette is selected as a single colour story, lit by studio light. PIGMENT-FILED — Colour families, finishes and designers are noted per project, never generic. DESIGNER-SIGNED — Each room carries the signature of its designer and the studio of record. GALLERY-GRADE — Projects are filed as if for a colour exhibition, opened slowly.

Founded in 2016 and curated from studios in Köln, Kyoto, and Copenhagen, the Atelier files its colour stories the way a gallery files its finest pigments: one room, one coat, one mood at a time.
